If it's a flat tappet cam, the lifters should be replaced. If it's a roller cam, the old lifters can be safely reused after careful inspection. The pushrods and rockers should be OK, but inspect them carefully also. Wouldn't it be a good time to install new pushrods and roller rockers? I would also install a new timing chain and gears.
