Question pulled first gooseneck with powerstoke

Well yesterday (friday) I pulled a gooseneck trailer for my first time ever.
It's a lot different than bumper pulls, not no big deal tho. Anyhow the
truck handled it well. I used my bosses f350 automatic 2wd flatbed, man
they are heavy tho, this one is a 20+5 with tandem duals 20+5 just means
it has a 20 ft deck and 5' of dovetail. It has a weight capacity of 25k lbs,
no ***** either It is xtra heavy. I pulled it in overdrive quite a bit tho, unless
I was pulling up hills or going around turns it was in 3rd. I think it will be alright shouldn't it? The tranny seems fine, just curious if that was a huge no-no.

As long as you wern't really bogging it or it wasn't shifting in and out all the time you were all right, don't you just love the turning of a goose-neck?! The truck could of had 4.10's which with a empty goose-neck would pull od all day long. That trailer only weights 6000lbs

Yeah it's got 4.10's, It didnt ever gear hunt or lug, I just wasnt sure if that weight
running 50-60 would hurt it or not. Yeah I like the way they turn, gotta swing wide
tho hehe, Don't wanna catch someones vehicle lol. Only 6k, sure did have the foot
in the throttle just for 6k lbs?
