i found a real nice 77 f-350 crew cab, with a new 460 aand all the goods. the truck is two wheel drive. i want to make it four wheel drive. i have a good 4x trans and t-case and a sweet fnt. dana 60. all out of wreck. has anyone done a swap?, what do i need to know to do it? or should i find a new frame and all? any advise would help. thanks jesse

The easiest way is to sell what you got and buy a 4X4. Theres alot of fab work involved in converting a 2WD to 4X4. It's been gone over many times here. click here

We just had 2 or 3 posts about this within the past 4 days so if you browse the first 2 pages of this forum you'll see them. That may give you some ideas. It's really not that difficult to do if you can do your own fab work.
Dan, if you think finding a 4x4 Crewcab is easy I need to be making my way down to SC! The last decent 4x4 Crewie I saw here was $10K and they are few and far between.
