01 expedition sub replacement

I have an 01 expedition eb with the mach sound system. The rear sub doesn't work and I need to replace it. Should I use an aftermarket one or stock. What aftermarket subs are direct fit? Is it 8 in or 10 in ? 4ohm or 8 ?
Sorry for the newbie questions.
Any info would be appreciated.

8" 4 ohm.i haveput kicker and fosgate speakers in these and they sound fine.there is usually a bolt through the back of the enclosure into the magnet holding the speaker in so be ready

Still No Sub

I replaced the factory sub with a JL 8W0-4, but it still didn't work.

Seems there's no power going to it. No power going in to the amp next to it either. I checked the fuses in the box under the dash. All good. Anyone have any suggestions? The radio and cd changer work. Just no sub.
