Looking for a block heater connector/bracket.

Previously, the plug for my block heater was cable-tied to the bumper. Well, one chilly (0F) morning it snapped and the plug is now dangling. I would like to find a bracket type connector similar to a trailer plug/outlet. Ideally it would be mounted to the bumper and have a cover that would spring shut. I looked through McMaster-carr's website and I found a male receptical but it didn't have a cover. Does anybody know where I might find my dream receptical?

you can get a weatherproof box, set the receptical in it and use a marine cover on it. next time you see a ambulance check out the charging, block heater plug on it. it has a auto releasing plug. hubble makes them, a electrical wholesaler will have all the stuff you need. i can get part numbers off mine, i cant remember it right now. ill take some pics too

That would be much appreciated, especially the pics. I'd prefer it to be smaller rather than larger.

Try a Kenworth dealer. They should have what you're looking for.
