Arrow Powershot 2000 - Programmer - water usage

Well after using a programmers Diablosport Programmer and Bullydog inline my truck uses a couple gallons of water ever 70-100 miles when towing 11500lb without the programmer it doesn't use water.

I know there been allot of discussion on this either it's the egr or head bolts, all my friends that use these programmers seem to use water also some of them where surprised to find out they where using water when towing.

Maybe there should be a warning lable on the programmer stating "May use water please check every 100 miles."

Anyone using Powershot 2000 on there 6.0 and does it use water?

How do you like it compared to a programmer?

Which Predator program are you using? The Diablo documentation tells you not to stack the Predator with another device and suggests on 8,000lb towing with the 65HP program. You must take inclines in to consideration as well which could lower the 8K towing limit.

I have the U7160 programmer

When towing it is set at tow 40hp setting and no I'm not running the Predator and Bullydog at the same time "aka: stacked". I drive it the same as without the programmer on the truck.

i know of several fords running lp under full throttle and lp and cvhips they all spew water, the one that does it the most is stacking the pred on 100 a ts 165 and lp,he can dump a gallon in a few short throttle jabs and his tranny is gone, going to install a local aftermarket next week.the other is a pred on 100 and a powershot and it blows water but after some abuse, tranny is fine, the third one is a superchip on econ ,a bdog 160 and the bdog lp and it doesnt blow much coolant at all.if you run the tow setting and lp it does seem to work nice and never blew water when it was on my truck..hope this helps

If it blows coolant stock, it's going to blow it with any modification. I have not had an issue with mine, in 65 hp mode and propane on. I don't use the 100 hp setting. Those that run propane alone do not seem to have the problem, but if you are already losing coolant, it would most likely with anything, although maybe not to such an extent.
