First off, welcome aboard!
Secondly, what do you wish to accomplish with your motor exchange? If you are just looking for the simple/cheap way to go, replace it with what's there already.... Anything more will require consideration of fit/fuel systems/electronics/transmission-transfer case/emission laws and finally time and money.

It would fit, but why would you want to. The heads and intake were junk in all the 4.6 and 5.4 until 99, when they came out with the "power improved' heads. Besides that, those cams in that 4.6 won't work well in that heavy truck. They're tuned more for the lighter Stang.
