Single Outlet Header
I am looking for headers for my 1982 F-150 with a 300 six, i can't find any one that has a single outlet, i really don't want to mess with duals because i am planning on doing the exhaust my self. Does any one know of a single outlet header? I have tried Clifford, Hooker, Heddman, Dynomax, and Pacesetter they all make headers but no single outlet. thanx

Have you looked at using the EFI exhaust manifolds? They came from the factory on 87-96 300's. You could then use the Walker downpipe so you have a single exhaust after the manifolds. I plan on doing this when I rebuild my 300 in the spring. The EFI manifolds flow much better than the log style manifolds on the carb'd 300. Plus you can get them from a junkyard much cheaper than the cost of headers.

Never thought of that, i am putting on a Offy DP intake and a holley 450 cfm carb and just didn't want to open the intake and leave the exhaust plugged. thanx
