best gear ratio?
I am about to install a powertrax locker in my 78 f-150 460 9-inch with a 3.85 gear ratio and I was wondering if I should change the ratio for high speeds or leave the same?

Aren't those fancy locking rear gears for driving in straight lines?

Which gear ratio is best depends alot on what size tires you're running on the truck. Also depends on how you use the truck (commuting, towing, lots of freeway, etc) as well as what kind of transmission is in the truck. No thoughtful recommendation on gear ratio can be given without more info about the truck.
