Valve lash for a 300 inline 6
I have a 86 F150 that I am rebuilding the 300 I6. The block we find out is an '81, not sure on the head. (I know it isn't an '86) I am attempting to adjust the valve lash according to the manuals, but I run out of thread on the mounting stud. The push rod is still loose. I am using the rocker arms, folcrums and push rods that came with the head. Any ideas as to how to fix my problem?
