Question Suicide ****

Anyone know where I might find a suicide **** for my truck? I have a broken paw right now and slow tight turns are sure difficult with one hand.

Thanks Fire Rooster

Tractor supply company. Any tractor dealership. JC Whitney.

I know you need one, but you are aware that they are illegal right?

How did you bust the wing?

They are illegal? No I was not aware. How come? I just found one on JCwhitney's website for 10.00 bucks, Ican still buy one right even though they are ilegal? I wish I had a good story to tell like some heroic save in a fire or that I was doing a triple back flip on my dirt bike or something. But in reality I was running and tripped on a guy wire holding up a tree. I did not see it and it was too late. I landed on my shoulder and fractured my clavicle in 6 places. Oh well.

I can probably steal you a suicide **** that comes with a big ol sparklely steering wheel, both off of my grandfathers mean old 70ies Kenworth grain truck. haha just kidding. Tractor supply would have one, i have seen them in JC Whitney also, and usually any place that has forklift equipment and parts has them.

That's a bummer.....maybe you shold make up a heroic firefighter story

They may be legal in some states...don't know for sure, but that has never stopped anybody from using them. I have seen the kind that fold down inside the steering wheel rim when not in use.

I was told one of the reason some states have outlawed them is beause people where buying cheaply made ones that would break. My dad has one on his 95 psd got it at a truckstop. It is all metal and never has had a problem with it. In fact after 200K miles later almost all the indented letters have been worn off on the top of it but it still spins like it was new. Don't go cheapest get a heavy duty one for your superduty!

Thanks for the replies guys, I got a DR.'s note to put one on while my arm is in the sling, so that otta hold them off if I get pulled over. I ordered the one from JC whitney. All black, and folds away when not in use (Just in case I keep it on there a little longer then prescribed) It has a four inch clamp designed for our trucks and the plastic handle. I know semprfi suggested the all metal one but cannot find one that is not a permanent fixture. Plus the all black clamp and **** will fit my all black truck.

they are illegal because your shirt sleave on a short sleave shirt could get caught on the **** if you turned the wheel without using the **** hence the name suicide know. When I broke my arm doing a triple back flip and saving poeple in a fire I had to tell the guy in the auto-part store that the suicide **** was for my garden tractor or he would not have sold it to me.

Good story, but when I did that same stunt, I broke my tib/fib on the landing. So I couldn't tell the same story for my collar bone.

I bought one for my MF65D tractor at NAPA. Pretty nice, all metal with bearings in the ****. I think I paid $10 - $12 bucks.

yeah, so you can have every idiot talking on the cell phone while watching an in-dash DVD player while steering with the spinner ****. They are outlawed for a reason, and if they do become legalized, I probably won't leave the house.
