dana 60 mini spool

i have searched the forums, summit racing and randys ring and pinion i am looking for a dana 60 mini spool. Before every one says this is a bad idea let me explain. this is in a 79 bronco that sees very little street driving in the winter but in the summer a lot of top off cruising i want the mini because it is cheap and i can pull the cover and axles and swap back in my spiders just looking for some suggestions

i am not sure but i dont think they make a mini spool for the d60 front. if you have never seen the actual carrier it is quite a bit smaller than most other diffs and i would think getting a mini spool in there would be difficult. not to mention a mini spool relies on the cross pin strength and there would be strength issues. i welded mine up and have LOVED IT and will never go back esp when i get done with my hydro assist. the full spool is the better way to go esp if it never sees the street.

just my lousy .02

EDIT: CRAP... i thought you were talking about D60 front, lol o well, i still dont' think they make a mini for a D60 rear either! only full spools

it is in the rear but do you think that welding the spiders with such a short wheelbase would work or could i weld them like in the tech section and make them removeable

hey fishman sorry about forgetting to reply on the tires one of my buddies decided to buy them off me this week but my dad is in the army as a tech so i will keep a lookout for some more
