How much play should the carrier bearing have? I have began noticing a vibration in 6th gear when accelerating, no other time. Crawled under the truck and noticed some movement in the carrier bearing rubber isolator. Is it normal movement or should this be pretty solid. Thanks.

 

Mine dosn't move very easily, you really have to be pushing on it to move it. And even then, it only moves a quarter of an inch in any direction at the most.
