What size tires?
I have a 1974 F250 4X4 and I'm going to put the Skyjacker 4" lift on it (part # F740KS). I understand you can run 38" tires with this lift. Has anyone got this skyjacker lift on there hiboy and if so what size tires are you running.

you should be able to get 38's in there maybe with some fender scrubbing. why don't you just bump up to the 6" lift...it's only like $100 more and later down the road you'll wish you did!

my bad, i read your post wrong. thought you said you had a 79 which would be the low boy version which they make a 6" kit for!
the high boys from the factory are already setup 2" or so higher than most other trucks! a 4" lift on that truck with some 38's would be sweet!
my buddy in my gallry has a 76 with some lift (all custom) and 40" ground hawgs and looks pretty mean!

I bought the same lift for my 76 hiboy i haven't installed it yet just waiting till i rebuild the engine so i don't cover the springs or shocks with oil(bad blowby) but is running 35's MT Claws right now without it i bought it to give me a lil extra clearance.
