Please help, 2002 7.3 truck running fine.Changed fuel filter last night, did not start truck until this morning and it will not start.the truck actually ran for about a minute and then died.It sounds like it wants to start but will not. There is smoke and all the gauges work, the fuel pump seems to be working, and when I open the drain with the key on there is pressure. The truck seems like it is flooded now? Can that happen? All this from changing the fuel filter , any help would be appreciated.

you say all the guages work, does this include the tach? if you do not see any rpm when you crank it is probably the cam position sensor (CPS). If it does move, then maybe your batteries are worn down some. you have to get the rpms up high enough to get it to lite off (around 500 rpm)... if that doesnt work you may want to try reseting the computer by pulling the # 15 fuse out for a few seconds. if you reset the computer, you will also erase any error codes that have been thrown, which if it does not fix the problem you wont have the codes to fall back on for help.
