Problem with 2000 Expy

00 Expy ABS AND Service engine light
My "service engine soon" and "ABS" light came on the other day at the same time and are still on. Has this happened to anyone else? I know these have both been covered seperatley but I can't find a thread that has both. Could the brake issue be causing the service engine light to come on? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I don't know if this matters but the temperature outside was about 5 degrees.

Nearly everything on these vehicles are "computer" controlled these days, therefore, once codes are generated, it is generally easier to diagnose problems via reading said codes. Many auto part stores will read codes for free.
