Limited Slip
Hey everyone. I have a 2000 Ranger, with a limited slip rear diff, I was wondering if anyone has installed a limited slip to the front diff? Are there any reasons I should not do this? I don;t do very much off roading, I just want the absolute best traction I can get.

You can put one in the front if you want. If you have live-axle front end, it will make it a little more resistant to turning, even in 2 wheel drive. If you have hubs, it will be fine. Regaurdless, it will only HELP you when you're in 4x4. So if you don't offroad much, it might not be a huge help. And if you want a LOT of traction, you should have a locker probably anyway.
