Hi all, I was just wondering if there are any incentives still available on 2004 F150 Heritage trucks? There are 4, yes 4, on a local dealers lot (according to their website anyway, I saw 2 there in person) and I think I may just go check the one out.
Wasn't Ford offering a $4K or $4.5K rebate on these until the beginning of January? Is it still possible to take advantage of this expired rebate? I figure everyone wanted the new F150 so they still have these left on the lot. I'd be happy with it, I don't need the latest, just want something new(er).
Ford discontinued the consumer rebate on the Heritage, and instead gave a "final pay" dealer-cash program of $4000 for each one left in stock. It gets tricky if you want one dealer to get you the truck from another, because the incentive gets paid to the original DEALER, not the consumer. The dealer that first got the $4000 doesn't have to give it up, the two dealers have to negotiate it. If you really want one of these, your best bet is to buy it from a dealer that has one already has one in stock.
Thanks. I dunno if the trucks were originally delivered to this dealer, but maybe I'll go take a look.
Have a good one!!
Dan
THAT part I can help you with. The dealer to which the truck was originally delivered is listed on the bottom of the factory window sticker. If that name matches the one you're currently visiting, YOU WIN! Just don't let the salesman tell you they didn't qualify for the $4000; if it's originally their truck, they got the money.
