block casting number location
i Just bought an 81 f-100...i believe the original engine was a 255 4.2 L V8. But the later replaced that for the 302. Im in the process of disasembling it right now, i have the heads off. Where are the casting numbers located on the block? i need to know before i start ordering parts. thanks.

302 V-8 Block - The casting number is located where the starter bolts up to the bell housing. Removal of the starter is necessary to see the number
