Tubular frames
Wasn't sure on where to post this one, sorry if its the wrong thread. Does anyone have an idea as far as how to build one. My friend and I are in the process of designing an all off road performance truck and want to have a tubular chasis. We have a 460/c6 and Dana 60's along with a tranfer on its way. Just seeing if anyone out there has any ideas.

I'd like to know about the process, too. I have a feeling it's an art form that too few knaw anything about, thus the information isn't out there.

Have you read through and four wheeler magazines? They have TONS of info on building tube frames and anything reguarding building and untimate off road vehicle. I have a subscription to three: Four Wheeler, Of-Road, and Peterson's 4-Wheel and Off-road. I can go back and look through some issues and see if I can find anything about building a tube frame. I'll post if I do or I can email you if you want. From what I understand if you have a tube bender and know how to weld the possibilities are endless when building a frame of any kind.

Tubular frames
I have been reading my 4x4 mags I only have one years back issues, but they cover nothing on tubular frames. I have Off-Road and Four Wheeler. Maybe Petersons has it I don't know. My e-mail is cpnhgnjnky(No Email Addresses In Posts!). If you find out any info on it that would be great. I have access to benders on the weekend, and a guy thats really good at welding that is itchin' to do the work/fab. Thanks.
