Or if you are like me and can't afford that, you could go with a combo programmer/code reader. Like the Evolution, Predator, SCMT, or the like for around $400. These don't go as in depth as an expensive dedicated code reader but they do the job plus they have tuning capability. For example, I was having tranny problems. My evolution came up with the same codes as the tranny shop's $10k snap-on. The exact same codes.
