Steering Gear Information
Can someone help with with information about a steering gear I took out of a 77 F-150 4x4? I'm using this gear with with everything all the way to the steering wheel to install power steering in my 65 F-100 4x4. Every thing works great except I overlooked in small detail. When I turn right the truck goes left, OUCH.
What I want to know is if the clock in this gear can be reversed 180 degrees? I have searched the web but can't find any information on the gear using its cast part number.
I'm hoping someone out there can direct me to someone that can answer my question. The cast part number is C6AR 3580-A. Is this a Saginaw gear and can it be reversed?
