Looking for a set of traction bars for a Super Duty with only an add-a-leaf in the rear. In particular, I'm looking for a set that is mounted on a free floating shackle system in the front. Anybody have anything like this or know who makes one. I've found a variety of manufacturers who make them but don't have listing for Super Duties. Fabtech makes a nice one with the front mounted shackle system, but again, no listing for the Super Duty. Any help would be appreciated.
off road unlimited has a nice set for the superduty just go to offroadunlimited.com. I made my own set of ladder bars and built a crosmember to hang the shackles on waiting on warmer weather so i can shoot some paint on them it was a lot cheaper than what they want for other sets.
I'm going to call Fabtech today about the bars that they offer. On their website it says that these bars (FTS62003) are used for 5.5" to 8" of lift, the only thing I have is an add-a-leaf. They look like a really nice set of bars though. If they say that these bars should still work or can be modified to work I will probably go with them.
Do you have any idea if these things will work on a Super Duty? I was going to send Landyot an email but you have to be registered on that site to do so and I didn't want to register just to send this guy an email. Also, do you have any idea how much these things cost? From the testimony I read on the post, they sound almost to good to be true. If they work on a Super Duty and don't cost a huge amount of $$ I might consider giving them a try.
they may work great but the price is stiff in the 350 range depending on options but they seem to be a great product cant tell you that they will work for a superduty f-250 but there are options to fit an x with lifts or diffrerent springs

Sorry, He makes them for Excursions only....
from reading the infopack he sent me, he made them to counteract the fact that the Ex uses the same frame as the superduty, but lighter springs which allows more spring wrap...
