Help. Wheel and Tire sizes

I would like to keep the stock ride height of my 78 F-150 4X4 but need suggestions on possible wheel and tires sizes. It'll be used primarily for everyday driving with the occasional offroading.<O</O

Thanks.<O</O

We had a shop truck that was a '78 F150 4x4 with stock suspension and 32x10.50 tires and 15x8 aluminum rims. We all really liked that setup.

i like the sound of 32's underneath that particular truck, that would look good. 33's would be an overkill, found that out with my 79 f150, but i now has some lift, so it looks good now, but anyways. go with some 32's by however wide you like um.

Same here, I think 32x11.50's on some chrome 15x8's would do the trick. Neighbor has that setup on a stock 79 F150 4x4 and it looks good. 33x12.50's would look good if you got a front leveling kit.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll go with 32's on 15" AR 767's wheels.

I have 32x11.50 15's on my 77 2wd, so I'm sure that they will fit the 4x4 and look good.

May I suggest 1 thing you can get plain chrome center caps and open sleeves from LMC for like 3.95 each. They have no emblem or writing on them.

They are about 1/3 less each than AR caps and the are plain. The closed are 4.95 each and the open are 2.95. WAHOO!

They also sell the Daytona Style of the wheel you are looking at for $59.95 each
