Tachometer Information Needed
I have a 2004 F-150 XL Heritage, it did not come with a tachometer. I have an aftermarket tach that I am going to install.
I was wondering if anyone knew what color wire I should tie into to read the engine rpm??
The application sheet that came with the tachometer did not specify my year truck. Thanks for any info you can provide.

do a search for something like "tachometer" with the search tool on this forum.
I know it used to be the pink/white wire in the middle harness behind the gauge cluster. there's also a wire on the coilpack, i think green but don't quote me.
