Yup, both blatent and obvious. The lines going to and from the pump are a dedicated TO and FROM. The reason you have to tap the steering box in to places is because when you turn in one direction, you want one line to be the pressure line, and the other to be the return line. When you turn in the other direction, you want the previously-pressurized line to be the return line, and the presiously-return line to be the pressurized line.

Man you guys are evil, i've got it my head now that i need to do it as well, but at least it won't cost me anything other than a ps pump, wait i have one of those too (and yes i have the ram-which is actuall larger diameter than 2"-, hoses, fittings, extra(s) steering boxes, and a press to make the hoses as well)
