Block heater?

I bought my block heater at the Ford dealer, I think it was about $80. Installed it myself one afternoon. It replaces a freeze plug in the block on the left side. Toughest parts were reaching the freeze plug on my FX4 (Drivehaft in the way) and understanding the picture "instructions" on how to route the cable. Its a 600 Watt heater, so it doesn't draw much, but it definitely speeds up the warm-up on 15 degree mornings. If you can do a freeze plug replacement and have simple hand tools you can do it yourself. One caution - Even after draining the radiator, when you knock the plug loose prepare for a coolant flood!
