ive got a 4 inch superlift suspension lift, its been 2 yrs and the front end has sagged almost back to stock height, does anyone know i can get some sort of refund with no receipt?
You have no way of proving that the components wore out prematurely. As far as they are concerned, you could have kept a heavy plow on the front, which would dramatically reduce the life of those springs. You could either purchase new coils, or just suck it up, and add it to the 'experience' file. I dont think you have anything to stand on. Exactly what do they offer for a warranty anyway?
If you buy new springs, check with the manufacturer and make certain they have been fully scragged for at least a week or more. Thats the foremost reason for springs doing what yours have done. Anyone can make a spring but if you don't scrag them before they are under constant load, they will relax and cause the sagging condition you are dealing with.
All scragging does is fully compresses the spring and holds it that way for several days, weeks, whatever so that when they are shipped, they have already undergone significant compression so that the amount of "relaxing" they do after they are under the truck isn't as severe. Manufacturers of high quality lifter springs do the same thing.
do your tires look funny? are they bowed in at the tops by chance. if so it could make the front look lower and an alignment would be a possible fix. i dont see how they could sag unless you really beat them, or have a 460 in there. so which one is it?? hehe
