Bad torque converter?
Hi, i have a 01' F-350 with the 7.3 and 4R100 auto tranny i just rebuilt the tranny and put it in and when i put it in reverse or 1st it will lug the motor down and kill it sometimes. It will also do it in drive but not very much, but only when idling. It runs drives and shifts fine other than this. I upgraded to a triple lock torque converter and am wondering if the converter is trying to lock up? I have the high pressure acumulator and a chip so i know i've got really good pressure in it. To good, i blew the front torque converter seal off before. anyways any help would be appriciated. Thanks
