ABS light stays on
I recently had an major elecrtical failure where the headlights and engine and dash lights all failed at the same time. I pulled to the side of the road and shut of the headlights and ignition. I then restarted the engine with no problem but as soon as I turned on the headlights the engine died again. I was able to limp it home without the lights. The only side effects were that the left turn indicator light was on but dim and the ABS light was on too. I found the electrical problem to be a bad ground wire on the drivers side at the cross brace that the radiator is mounted to. The wire goes into the main harness where the left headlight wires come out. All is well now except that the ABS light is still on. It goes out when the engine is started but comes back on again right away. The fuse in the dash is ok as is the ones under the hood. This is a '93 F150 4x4/302 5speed. Any thoughts?
