Will this E40D 4.9 trans 4X4 fits my 5.9 4x4

I would like to make sure a 1997 E4OD trans from a 4.9 4X4 would fit my F250 5.8 4x4? I think it will.

4.9 is a small block bolt pattern. It will fit on 5.0 and 5.8W not on 5.8M.
