-30 starting
Recently worked in Northern Minnesota where it was -38 below zero. Jobsite did not have any electric to plug into. I nervously got into truck, prepped glow plugs and whala! it started. Amazing!!! It did sound like a couple of toasters rolling in the dryer for about 2 minutes though.

i have noticed that the longer u run on the oil change, the harder starting they get. i changed my oil yesterday with 8200mi on it, and last week it was sure a hard startin beast. and actually stalled a couple times!!! this mornin, she fired and hit all 8 right quick!!

One of my best friends lives in southern minnesota. He sent me a video clip of him starting up his 2001 6.0 at -26 degrees... it had set out all night by his barn with no plug. It took about 25 seconds for it to fire, but it did.

I cold tested my 2004 F250 PSD 6.0 Chistmas morning in Indiana at -12°F. It started right up and let it run a few minutes, after that I came out to the great sound of the 6.0 in fast idle mode. It almost sounded like a jet drier at Talladega. It takes about 2min. for the fast idle to kick in and will drop if you hit the brake or deisel pedal.
