My speedometer said 100 but it keep getting faster, I have a superchip tuner 1704, 4" turbo back exhaust, air raid intake. I stopped in the middle of the highway( no cars where coming from either ways) it felt like it done 0-100 in less than 10 seconds.
It might have felt like it accelerated that hard but it didn't.
Check the Timeslips link at the top of the page for some real world 6.0 1/8 and 1/4 mile times and speeds. My truck with SCMT in High Performance mode did a 14.33 s 1/4 mile at 93 MPH as I recall. So by 14.33 seconds I still hadn't hit 100 MPH.
I've never had the speedo reset though because I've not pushed the truck that fast - close though at 102 MPH on the GPS in a controlled environment.
According to the actual VSS reading (with stock size tires) it flips right at 112, at least on my 04. I'm sure this will vary a few miles an hour between vehicles, and will be slightly higher with larger tires.
BTW, I will have some time slips for you guys next week

This was longer than a qtr., actually about a mile at WOT. It was against the peg over 100 then the speedo just quit working at all then when I let off it came back on
Sorry, the point was that the truck won't do 0 to 100 in 10 seconds regardless of distance. If I only hit 93 MPH in 14.33 seconds, a similarly equipped truck isn't likely to hit 100 MPH in only 10 seconds.
10 seconds, 20 seconds, I still beat most cars to 100 if I want to with a stock truck. But, alas, mine shuts down without a tuner to kill the governor.

Granted it feels like it will . . .
