Power Mirrors

I have a 2001 Ranger, xlt, 4.0 4x4. With the power side mirrors, the drivers side mirror is loose, not the mount just the mirror part. Is there some way to tighten this without taking the door panel apart and removing the whole thing? I have searched the forum and didn't get any hits. It would seem that a wrench might fit if the mirror was moved to one side or the other, but I don't want to compound a simple problem.

Thanks for the info, So, I just place a hand on the mount, and the press my hand on the glass and it should tighten up? Sorry if this seems simple but I figured I would fix this myself, if I could.

Never did it myself since mine's a '98, but it seems the mirror will snap into place just by pressing it back in.

When removing, the screwdriver probably releases some sort of latch or spring clip mechanisim used to hold the mirror in place.
