Picking up holly pro-jection kit sunday for my highboy. Any words of wisdom or other comments will be appreciated. By the way i'm still pondering the overdrive issue. Thanks guys for all your input.
Don't know if this will apply to you, but..........when I installed a ProJection unit on a '78 Regal with a 350 Chebby, I had to drop the gas tank and knock out a reducer on an emissions port to allow for full return-to-the-tank flow. Everything else was easy, but dropping the tank was a major PITA. I also mounted the control head inside under the dash, but Holley probably still recommends that. Good luck!

I'm about to do the same thing once my tax check rolls in. Post updates so I can know what to expect. Good luck!
SO far so good, the only issue i've had is with the factory 2bbl intake. I had to put a 2bbl-4bbl adapter ($16 at auto zone) to make it work. The instructions say it is intended to bolt up to most 4bbl manifolds. Sooner or later i'll be installing a new edelbrock intake anyway so the adapter will have to do for now. Since i'm working on this in my free time it is takeing longer than normal but it has been easy so far. I'll post more when finished, thanks for the replys! -David
fired it up tonight, had to adjust the idle a little bit but so far it runs good. I'm gonna wait till daylight tommorrow to test and tune. Will reply with results.
Oh and on a side note: The instructions said anything stock 360 and below runs as a small block in the ecm.... anything 361 and above is ran as a big block. So I guess my 360 bb is gonna run on a small block fuel map? Anybody know anything about this let me know, if not i'm gonna keep truckin.
