How many of you on this website are sledders and what/where do you ride? I have a 2002 800 Summit-X w/144x2" track. We ride on open fields and deep snow meadows at low elevations at home. There is also some lake riding as well as trail riding here (we have to be careful running our paddle tracks on groomed trails). Occasionally, we make a trip to the mountains, usually Revelstoke, B.C.
2000 Arctic Cat ZRT 600. Got it this winter, had it up in the U.P., awesome sled, handles so much better and quicker than my old '94 Vmax 500. Rode a Firecat, that was a bad idea, it's another big step above the ZRT. After riding the Firecat, makes me think the 'T' in ZRT stands for 'Tank'.
Going racing tomorrow, as well as the local club ride that night.

Sorry to go on and on, but I love my sled to death. I ride primarily arond my home area of central ND, but hope to head out of state someday. Right now our snow is extremely crappy...can't even ride on it.
2000 Ski-doo Formula Z 700 and 2000 Arctic Cat Z 370, Been out road running today as the snowplows have yet to reach our roads. Snow is still falling steady here in eastern PA
2002 Arctic Cat Z440, had a Z120 for my son until he out grew it. Now at 9 years old he has nothing to ride. Pretty sad that sleds go from a 120 that goes 12-15 mph to a 370 that goes 65 mph.
2000 XC 500 Polaris, only 267 miles on it,,,and a 96' Indy Trail, with about 2k on it,, not many places to ride here in Conn.,,but snowing big time tonight, they say 24",,I'll beleive it when I see it, so we may hit the roads later, see how it goes.,,,Later,,,Mark
I have a 1999 Polaris RMK 700, it is a little better then the old Phazer, hehe. I have only been able to ride it once this year, hopefully the snow will come back!

Snow hasnt been an issue. Gotten over 13 feet so far in town and 30+ feet in the higher elevations. Rain last week so most of that is concrete. Alot of places to ride but its a matter of getting time off to go riding. Mostly we, my neighbor and I, go out the back yard and either ride the river bed or play around in the mountains. We have a few trails out our back yard that are a couple 100 miles of glacier and mountain travel.. We have one ice field (Bagley glacier), when it accessable thats the size of Rhode Island. Easy to get lost up there. When those trips are done it is always in decent size groups. The main glacier trip that is done around her is over the Valdez Glacier. Nice view with elevations of 13,000 but with the glacier melting that we have had in the past 10 years its getting harder to do some of these trails. Currently that trail is not accessable due to the 100+ feet cravases that are now open.Trying to get a few day off to go riding in the Wrangel Mountains to visit some old Copper Mines. About 4 hours drive north of were I live. Beautiful scenery, 16,000 mountains, glaciers, moose and not a sole for 100 miles. Our riding season is usually from Oct to Jun. The die hards can find snow year round but too much work to get to those fields for me.
Arctic Cat ZR 500. Lots of mods. Just replaced the clutch and I have never ridden anything that has that much acceleration. I've had KX 500's, CR 500's Yammy R-1's. From 20 to 60 in about as fast as you can scream. It's amazing.
A have a Mach Z for now, just got back from Grand Lake CO. about 10 min. ago. It is a trail sled pretty much only, will run with anything out there on the trails. Looking for a long track here soon.
Mines the yellow one. 2001 600mxz. Ride when the snow is here. UP riding last couple years. Not this year. I have to settle for looking john's photo's at his site johndee.com
