Has anyone either done or founda front hitch receiver for 2005 a F-350. I would like one that leaves the front hooks and oem lights if possible. Not many people list tham on thier web sites. Thanks in advance
Most of them, 99 - 04 anyways, require removing the fog lights. I know somebody pointed out a Warn last time this came up that didn't remove the lights. Haven't seen it though. As for the 05, not sure how much got changed behind the bumper, it may be the same unit. If that's the case, the tow hooks will stay. Check out Draw Tite.
Yeah that's the problem. Small price though for the added convienience. Not like I don't have enough light on the front of mine anyway. Anymore and I'd get complaints from the FAA
Either the Curt Mfg. #31014 or the warn #62524 worked on the 2004 and earlier models with the blocker beam no impact on the fog lights. I don't know if the 2005 is the same setup.
Thanks 1F350 there is no correct picture on the warn or the curt mfg., so Im not sure if they will work. The warn doesn't list the 05 yet. I guess I will wait a little while for the new stuff to come out.
I have a ramsey on my 03 lost the factory tow hooks. Factory fogs are still in place. Had the Warn on my 96 Liked the warn better, Ramsey does not have a factory front hitch but I had a recever mounted by a local 4X4 shop
They actually mount to your exisiting front tow hooks. They are bit higher in price but they install quickly and do not interfere with your driving lights or license plate bracket. I like how it was designed to fit my F-350.

Cheers,

HOW do they mount to the two hook? It looks like it slides over the top of it but how do you secure it to the hook?
I solved the problem by cutting a 2 1/2 wide slot in the blocker bar and welding in a 12 inch long receiver tube. Easy and cheap and seems plenty strong for use on a boat launch ramp or backing those four wheel wagons.
