hi guys, i have a 99 f250 sd, 5.4L, and i want to get a dual exh system for it. what would the down fall be if i removed my cat, and just went with a 3" system straight from the stock y pipe? i want to get a straight pipe from the y pipe, and then do a y pipe just in front of the real axle, and do 2 echo tips out the rear. would removing the cat be bad for the truck at all ( too little back pressure) ?? i do not have any emissions testing here..... small alaskan town !!! this should be a fairly cheap setup, i had one similiar to it on a ram i had, and it sounded SWEET !!! would i possibly throw a check engine code? thanks for all of your advice !!!!
