Aftermarket Carb

hey y'all I want to put a holley or edlebrock 4 barrel carb in my 82 F-100 the problem is that I have a AOD tranny is there anyway I can do this without changing trannys?

Thanks a lot franklin I will do mre research on this... with me workin at a dealership I will find out a bit more not mch seeing they dont know much about carbs... but I will dig around with the old timers and see where I go as well.. that artical is good imformative but the parts are for a 1991 5.4 liter from what I read so thats a bit too new thnaks a lot buddy

I just put the edelbrock 600 cfm in my f250 351 and was amazed at how much it improved the performance. I havn't got around to tweaking it, so the adjustment from the factory seems very good.
