390 Engine-frame mounts
hi all, i have a problem... i have a ford f-150 4x4 manual truck with power steering that i am putting a 390 into. i just found out the frame mounts i have for a 351m are the wrong ones. I also tried a pair of frame mounts out of an f-250 for a 390 but those dont work either. does anyone know the correct frame mounts to use? any help would be much appreciated. thanks, scott

I am doing something similar. What year is your truck? I have a 77 F150 and a 79 F250, both 4x4. The 77 has a 300 and the 79 has a 351. I am planning on putting a 390 into the 79. I know of a F150 in my area that has the mounts exposed and easy to get to. I can go by and find out what engine came out of it. Let me know what year truck you have and maybe some one will have the part numbers for the correct mounts to fit so I can verify,if it even has a number on it.
