05 ABS Problems

Anyone else out there have a problem with their ABS on the 05's.

I was driving in a parking lot today at about 10 mph and my ABS activated for no reason. Now the dummy light stays on which means the ABS is no longer working. Just wondering if anoyone else has had a problem and what the dealer had to do to fix it.

05 250 PSD CC SB 4X4 494 miles.....abs light came on for about 50 miles and then went out. Computer indicated a failed speed sensor for the ABS. Dealer replaced it...

Take it in SOON, that is not something to keep driving with....IMO

The earliest the dealer could get me in is Monday. They say the brakes are fine, just that the ABS is disabled. Believe me, it would be there today if I could.
I love the truck, but you would think for 40+ thousand the dealer could do better then Monday.

ABS Problem

The dealer found a bad speed sensor on the front left wheel. From the way the mechanic talked mine was not the first he's seen.

It was the left front wheel sensor on mine as well.

Tim,
Must still be going because after 3 days it is now back on. I am getting really frustrated. First 4 days...now who knows how long. Taking it back in this afternoon. I am going to ask to see how the ABS is put together and how they are doing to troubleshoot the problem.
