Is my problem a bad cps??

See Not EBPV Help post earlier. Could this problem be caused by a bad cps?

I have posted all the facts under that post earlier today.

with a bad cam sensor the truck will die then start back up and run for awhile then die again. it will be hit and miss restarting it but it will usally die dead as a door nail.

I have been all through the Ford Service Manual for the 1997 PSD. Cannot find anything that comes close to explaining what my problem is. I talked with several of the mechanics at the local dealership...two said it was the EBPV. They said to disconnect the linkage and see what happenes. Wish I had not listened to the...may have to remove turbo th reconnec the linkage. My hands are too big to get it back together... Frustrating since it was not the EBPV.

Anyhelp will be appreciated...may have to jsut sell this truck and find someting else.. Do not have time to mess with it as I need it now in my business.

Glad the dealer LIED tome about the origin of the truck. After flying to Atlanta, a little hard pressed to pass after learning the truth.

This is getting rather costly..savings has disappeared... Dealer service manager wants me to bring it out and he will put it on the computer for free...Means another day away from business....$1000 lost...

So puzzling since it ran so good ont he way back only to ru so bad the next morning.
