Help-03 SD not Starting
Truck has been sitting for about 3 weeks. Over the weekend I drove it about 200 mi. No problems. Last night I parked it and about 24 hrs. later (just a little while ago) I got in the truck and it would not turn over. I made sure that the clutch pedal was all the way to the floor and tried again. After 5-6 tries, the motor turned over. I did here a "clicking" sound actually more of a 'click' each time I hit the switch, Lights were bright, however.
I don't think my battery is weak, Temps were single digits last night, mid 20's today, Oil is fresh -Motorcraft 5w20.
My first thoughts are that either the starter appendix or the clutch neutral switch (or what actuates the neutral switch) is sticking from the cold temps or from sitting so long.
Anybody else experienced this? Truck has never done this before. As Always your comments are appreciated-Thanks-Fred
