99 Superduty - Cab light Problem

99 Superduty - Cab light Problem
Has anyone had problems with their dome lights staying on. With the open door light staying on. I can't seem to trace specific causes. I believe its related to the door switch but not sure.

fly4fun, do a search regarding this topic. There is a common problem with 99-03 PSD and the door ajar light. I had a similar problem and a couple of squirts of WD40 in the door latch did the trick.

I have a 99 f250 5.4 gas and had the same prob. I used a can of brakleen and flushed out the door latches. open and close the doors until the light goes out then spray with wd40.

I'm usually guilty of overlooking the obvious, so I thought I'd mention this: Did you check to see if the dimmer switch has been rolled up enough to activate the interior cab lights? Been there, done that!!!
