weird clutch problem or something
ok i know ive posted before about the clutch on this truck but heres updated info at first i thought the clutch was being saturated with oil as i thought i had a rear main leak turned out to be a valvecover gasket and things got better when i replaced the tps however when im below a half tank of gas it gives me attitude getting out of first gear not all the time but most of the time especially on a hill or backing up the less gas i have in the tank the worse it gets. now if i fill the tank the truck shifts fine and will continue to do so till i get down past a half tank again. this to me makes no sence at all however perhaps one or a couple of you has run into this problem and can give me an answer as to what the heck is this things problem. 89 b2 4x4 2.9 5 speed. the clutch has no slip under acceleration.
