Rear Diff. ?
Can any one help me decifer this rear diff tag, it reads as follows:
WDM DC 1C30
2 47 9. S 322B
This is on an 81 F100, it came with a 300 IL6 & 3sp w/OD manual trans. But has been converted to a 302 & C6. Would like to replace rear gear & install a posi unit, but I do not know how many splines are on the axle. I do not want to replace the axles if I can avoid it.

OUCH, 2.47 gears man....
I'm not 100 percent positive, but, I'd be willing to bet that you have 31 spline axles.

I'm not 100 percent positive, but, I'd be willing to bet that you have 31 spline axles.
