Tranny overhaul problem
I am having trouble removing the rear main bearing from the output shaft on my 83 F150 manual 4 speed OD transmission. It is frozen to the shaft. It is supposed to slide off. Any Ideas?

if its a ball bearing you might shatter the outside race of it with a hammer and all the ***** will fall out and you could cut the inner race with a die grinder and zip wheel (you'll need abrasives on roller bearing race hacksaw wont touch it) if its just a sleeve like copper or babbit with steel back you could just saw it off
