'03 cold start

I have an '03 2.3 5spd with a little over 10,000 miles.I bought it from my son about 5,000 miles ago.Ever since I've had it[summer or winter]if you try to take right off you have to feather the clutch or it will buck and jump and acts like it would die.In less than 45 seconds its fine.I suppose if I let it warm up that long it would it would be OK.I just figure it should pull itself right off the bat. After those first few seconds it runs and performs fine.Any ideas?

Since it's under warranty, I'd schedule a visit with the service department at your local dealer.

Thats probably what I'll do,but I don't have much confidence in their ability. My son had it serviced there and they didn't even put the right amount of oil back in it.Hopefully the techs know more than the ones that change the oil.

If equipped, I'd be suspicious of the intake air temp sensor being slightly out of range. It will be interesting to see what the shop thinks.
