I`m changing the rear differential oil in my 97 f150 with the 8.8 housing.My question is do I need the add the Ford brand friction additive or can I use any brand of additive for limited slip rearends found at autozones etc?The Ford brand is the same price for 4oz as the autozone brand for 7oz. size.Haynes manual says to add 4oz of the Ford brand for 8.8 diffs so if I can use the autozone brand do I use just 4oz or the whole bottle?Any help will be appreciated.Thanks
