Ok...I have a 2000 mazda b2500 4 cylindar 2.5L and i need some help installing my aftermarket tach...if anyone knows how to install a tach for my truck or know of any instructions please help me. thankz for your help!
I would suggest following the manufacturers instructions, you'll need the tan/yellow wire (tach signal) running from the PCM to the instrument cluster.
i recently inlstalled a tach in my 98 ranger with a 2.5l 4 banger. I believe the wire you are looking for is numbered 48. I could be wrong but i do know that it is a tan wire with a yellow stripe. My tach works fine.
It's a single wire, tan with a yellow stripe. It's the tach signal from the engine to the PCM, it will tel the tachometer how fast the engine is turning.
ok thankz..im going to try n hook my tach up in the next few days so if u would keep an eye in this thread incase i have problems that would help..thankz everyone
